Cederman Brothers
"Growing for the future!"
- Russell & Duncan/ Peter & Sue Cederman, Motueka, New Zealand
Our story:
Cederman Brothers Orchard is a fourth generation orchard situated in the Riwaka area close to the Motueka township. Brothers Russell and Peter formed the company in 1975 after taking over from their parents Robert and Margaret.
The land has seen transition from tobacco, kiwifruit and pears to 100% apples today.
Currently Russell and Peter's respective sons, Duncan and Tyler, are taking the company forward into the next generational phase of the business. Exciting times lay ahead with the current development of older varieties into new varieties on a year in/year out basis.

Our involvement in KORU® Plumac c.v:
The first KORU® plantings were in 2011. We currently have 14 hectares of KORU®. We decided to take a punt on KORU® because of its large size and yielding potential, as well as being a sweet apple, was suited to being marketed througout the world. KORU® also fits in well with our harvest plan being mid season.
What we think is special about us:
Our integrated packhouse and coolstore facility ensures we have control over delivering a quality apple to the market.
We established in 1975 and proundly grow:
65 hectares of apples with following varieties:-Cox Orange
-Royal Gala
-Jazz
-KORU®
-Pink Lady
-Braeburn
