Our story:
Fairfield Orchards Ltd are 3rd generation farmers of the beautiful and often photographed Riwaka Valley in the Tasman region. The original "Home Farm" with its fertile soils has farmed Sheep & Tabacco in its earlier years, and in the last 30 Pipfruit & Kiwifruit.
Fairfield Orchards Ltd has grown significantly over the last 10 years, and now its operation includes 10 different orchards spread throughout the Motueka region.
At our main office in Umukuri Road, Riwaka have a large modern purpose built Packhouse & Coolstore facility, with BRC & Costco accreditation. At Fairfield our focus is on quality of product, therefore we have choosen varieties that suit our growing conditions have have invested in technology and systems that help us deliver that to our customers.

Our involvement in KORU® Plumac c.v:
We saw KORU® as a variety that intergrated easy within our operation due to harvest timelines.
The quality of the variety and yeilds obtained to the grower looked promising, we first planted KORU® in 2013 and still have trees ordered for the coming years.
At the end of 2017 we will have 15 ha of KORU® planted.
KORU® is a taste sensation, its super crunchy with a sweet juicy flavour, and its dosen't look too bad either!
