Our story:
Zingler Farms was founded by Mike Zingler in 1989 when he was 24 years old. Mike was honorably discharged from the U.S. Air Force in 1988 and came home to Western New York State in search of a career relating to his helicopter mechanics degree. To hold him over while he looked for a job, he began working on a farm for a local, aging farmer. This aging farmer ended up renting Mike land to grow his own crops and, thus, Zingler Farms was formed.
Planting the right apple varieties, being an early adopter of industry trends, having an astute business mind, and working extremely hard has given Mike and his farm great success throughout the last 27 years. In 2012 his son, James, joined the business.
Today, Zingler Farms is run by Mike and James. They operate roughly 335 acres of apple orchards in Kendall, New York and Hilton,

KORU® is an extraordinary apple and that is what we want to continue to build our farm around!
Growing extraordinary apples is what we love to do! We are planting KORU® Plumac c.v. trees in 2016, 2017, and 2018 and will be expecting our first crop in 2018 from the first plantings.
