"Great for a snack or the lunch box. These delicious KORU® apple rings were made without any anti-browning solutions!"

Ingredients
1 medium size KORU® Apple per tray
Method: Using a dehydrator
- Wash, core & peel (Optional - I don't peel) KORU® Apples
(Approximately 1 medium size KORU® Apple per tray) - Slice apples thinly and evenly (1/4 inch)
(Using a mandolin slices the apples easier and makes for more consistent drying time) - Arrange apple slices on dehydrator trays
- Sprinkle lightly with cinnamon
- Set your dehydrator at 135F (57C) for 6-8 hours
When done, apples should feel dry and leathery with no tackiness.
Let apples cool at room temperature; then store in airtight bags or containers.
These will last for several months if stored in a cool, dark place.
For longer storage, seal in vaccuum packs and store in the freezer.
Method: Using an oven
- Preheat your oven to 200F.
- Line a metal baking pan with parchment/cooking paper.
- Arrange apple slices in a single layer and cook as above.
